Membership:  Open to all Church Point Residents

The Dues Are:  Active Member- $40, Associate Member* - $45
*Members who attend two or fewer regular program meetings throughout the year, (September-May).

Meeting Day  & Time:  The first Thursday of the Month (September - May) at 9:15 AM.
Place:  Member’s Homes

Activities Include:  Floral workshops; decorating the front entrance for the holidays; hosting Santa at the Gazebo; planting annuals in the fall and spring at the entrances to Church Point; working with the Council of Garden Clubs of Virginia Beach to make holiday wreaths for the Municipal Center, decorating the Francis Land House for the holidays and making floral arrangements for various charitable events in Virginia Beach. Most important, enjoying the company of a fun group of ladies who reside or have resided in Church Point.

Landscape of the Month Award
Church Point Garden Club Members select a “Landscape of the Month” award from March through November.  We have divided the neighborhood into three sections: The Mews, The Commons & Bishops Court, The Commons East  & The Quays.  The award’s selection is rotated among these three areas.  Homeowners that are selected will receive a certification of recognition from the Garden Club.  Once selected, there is a two year restriction period before an award winner can be eligible for selection again.  Judges evaluate seasonal interest and color, lawn and plant maintenance, along with overall harmony and balance.  Perfection is not the goal, but neatness does count.  With so many enjoyable landscapes to choose from, it is an honor to receive this very special award of recognition.
