In 1997, the Church Point Homeowners Association created two committees to deal with the creation of the architectural rules and procedures as well as the enforcement of these rules. The Architecture Control Committee and the Rules Enforcement Committee were established through 2 resolutions. Sometime in 2011, the Architecture Control Committee and the Rules Enforcement Committee were merged to create the Architectural and Rules Enforcement Committee as we know it today. A new resolution was not created at that time. On January 22nd, 2024, an updated resolution was agreed by the Church Point Homeowners Association Board of Directors. Responsibilities
- Develop proposals to improve architecturally relevant parts of the Governing Documents and Rules and Regulations.
- Review all requests for modification submitted to it and make recommendations for the approval/disapproval of those requests.
- Perform final inspections of completed work to determine compliance with Governing Documents and Rules and Regulations.
- Perform period inspections of the association to ensure continued compliance with Governing Documents and Rules and Regulations.

The Church Point Governing Documents require that any external changes to your house must be reviewed and approved by the HOA Board of Directors before your work can proceed.
