Board of Directors Meetings


Board of Directors meetings are held in accordance with the State of Virginia Property Owners’ Association Act, section 55.1-1816. Meetings of the board of directors and the Association’s Bylaws.

Key points:

  • All Board of Directors meetings are open to HOA members of record.
  • Notice of the time, date, and place of each meeting of the Board of Directors shall be listed on this website.
  • The Board may convene in executive session to consider items listed in section 55.1-1816, subsection C, of the Virginia Property Owners’ Association Act.
  • The Board of directors may not use work sessions or other informal gatherings of the board of directors to circumvent the open meeting requirements.
  • Following executive sessions, the Board must reconvene in open session for any decision making.
  • As of December 2023, agendas and minutes of each meeting shall be posted on this website.

All board meetings are conducted in the former Cellars Restaurant at the Church Point Manor. Please note that although the address for the Church Point Manor is 4001 Church Point Road, the entrance to the Cellars is actually around the corner on Meeting House Road.

As of January 2024, all Board of Director Meetings will be held every 4th Monday of the month from January until October.
