Social Committee


The Social Committee has informally existed since the mid 2000s and you can find many references to it in the Newsletter Archive. On January22nd, 2024, the Church Point Homeowners Association Board of Directors officially established the Social Committee through a Board Resolution. Responsibilities

  • Develop a social activities program for the year in advance and submit recommendations along with a recommended budget to the Board of Directors by August 1st of each calendar year.
  • Ensure activities foster a sense of community spirit and contribute to a stronger family-oriented, social fabric.
  • Ensure funds are only used for events which are all-inclusive of the members (They may not be used for small group activities).
  • Execute the planned events, coordinate the logistics and work with the Communications Committee for notifications and signage.
  • Welcome new homeowners to the community.
  • Plan and execute the annual yard sale.
