The Church Point Homeowners Association is governed by a set of documents and associated amendments compliant with the Code of Virginia Property Owners’ Act:

• Articles of Incorporation establishing the HOA and explaining why it exists.
• Bylaws establishing roles and responsibilities, structure and processes.
• Declaration of Restrictions contains the covenants and restrictions. As explained here, the Declaration of Restrictions are complex and the Board of Directors established a simplified set of Rules and Regulations to make it easier to consume. It must be noted however that these rules and regulations are not intended as a substitute for the actual Declaration of Restrictions and Bylaws.
