Report Issues to the City of Virginia Beach

Church Point is a very large community, and it takes all neighbors working together to keep the community looking great. The city is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the city streets, sidewalks and street lights in Church Point (with exception of Bishops Court) but the city needs your help in reporting deficiencies. If you notice street lights out (there is a number on each pole) or sidewalks that have dangerous trip hazards in front of your home or a neighbors, please report those directly to the city via their website. Here is the list of issues you can report on:

After reporting an issue, you will receive regular updates emailed back to you on the status of the work order, plus you can see other requests that have been entered to reduce duplication. Many Church Point residents have used the Virginia Beach website to report street lights, sidewalks, manhole covers and potholes – pictures can be attached also. The City does a good job handling these requests.

The City of Virginia Beach Police Department also offers means to report law enforcement issues like noise violations, neighborhood crime, destruction of property, traffic incidents, abandoned vehicles, embezzlement and identity theft.

Note to the residents of Bishops Court: The streets, sidewalks and street light in Bishops Court are owned by the Bishops Court Homeowners Association (not by the City of Virginia Beach). In case there are any issues in Bishops Court, please reach out to the Bishops Court Homeowners Association.
